He was at a school labor outside by the river and he jumped into the river when "Pika", which is what old people in Hiroshma calls a-bomb, bursted and caused hot blast. Half of his classmated died, and hald survived. My father survived only because one of his classmate found him floating in the river and picked him up into the boat. <BR/>He barely talked about it over 60 years after the war is ended, and I only started to hear about that recently. The fact he doesn't remember what happend at all, and the fact he was unrecognizable as the great portion of his skin fell off.
